The Young People’s Health programme focuses on improving the physical and mental well-being of young people in Nigeria by raising awareness and educating young people and those responsible for their care about common health issues that affect them, improving access to prevention and care of these common health issues as well as advocating for the health need of young people.
Healthy Youth, Healthy Future
School Health Project
Aims to improve the physical and mental well-being of school children and young people and their teachers. This will include improved access to school health training, workshops and strategy development for school owners and their teachers.
Sexual Health Project
Aims to reduce the incidence of STIs and blood-borne virus transmission among young people through awareness and improved access to prevention materials and care services.
Mental Health Project
Aims to raise awareness of mental health challenges that affect children and young people, providing accurate and timely information to demystify this mental illness and facilitate early diagnosis and treatment of common mental challenges.
